2 PROJECTS AS PI
2 COLLABORATIVE PROJECTS
Understanding the drivers of ecological change from natural to social factors with special interest in climate variability and climate change. The projects in the laboratory integrates applied ecological methods to monitor abiotic and biotics factors in terrestrial ecosystems Various tools are used from isotopes to trace the pathways of water as it passes through soils, roots and leaves and to determine the diet and trophic level of animals, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Big Data to study spatial and temporal factors in habitat change and migration patterns. Integrate citizen science to document larger spatial and temporal scale changes in ecosystem due to climate change.
